Can I have an unlocked cell phone locked to a particular service?
I'm having probs with my recent purchase ebay an unlocked phone jumping from one service (T-Mobile, Cingular) and dropping calls. I understand that is can be a problem with unlocked phones. Basically, I want this problem solved.
I fear a phone unlocked, can not be locked again. Also, this is not the question of why you are having trouble with your service. All your phone done is to search for the strongest signal, T-Mobile and Cingular are the two options for your phone to use, it's just trying to keep as stronger of the two. * * The most likely and unfortunately the phone you bought on ebay has problems, antenna issues most likely. According the type of phone it is, you can see if you can replace the antenna, it may have been abandoned electronica * striking the inside, and can cause general problems, and frankly would have been the reason to unload on ebay to start *. bring to a local sales office or by calling the customer service to explain your problems are the best options at this point.
